Dear Friend of the Rep,
At last, Spring is in the air! ...and with it comes the strains of lingering applause for The Rep's youngest performers-kudos to the cast and crew of Macbeth: A Kid's Cautionary Tale.
Our season of classics continues with Tennessee Williams' compelling drama, The Glass Menagerie, opening April 4th at our Tenth Street Theatre. Directed by Jeffrey J. Albright, this "memory play" is the one that established Williams as a titan of the American stage. Loosely autobiographical, the atmosphere varies from wistful to brooding-and tender to tragic-in the telling of the hopes and failures of an all-too-typical American family. The production runs through April 13th.
Following that, is our next Special Event production, Moonglow, opening May 8th for a four-show run through May 11th on our Tenth Street Stage.
As the exhilaration of the warmer weather approaches, it brings with it the promise of a new season at The Rep. The highlight of my year as your Artistic Director is this presentation of the 2014 - 2015 Season of Productions:

By definition, a repertoire theatre should be steeped in the classics of the stage. It has been my great joy to assemble for you a season filled with drama, mystery, humor and panache in these popular and timeless classics. I hope that you-as Friends of The Rep-will join me in supporting, auditioning and attending this grand panoply of theatre in the upcoming season.
