Volume 38, Issue 10
August 2015
Letter from the President

I hope you are all enjoying your summer.  We are about to end our 2014-2015 season with the Young Rep Production of State Fair. The show is performed by teens 13 to 19 years of age.  Nothing says summer like a fair. Then next up, the first show of the new season, a sort of "good bye" to summer, Picnic on Labor Day Weekend.  We would love for you to come and  join us. Even though you are vacationing, golfing, swimming it is still good to take a break and relax with a good show.
I have an announcement to make about the upcoming season.  We have had to make one change to our season line up. Tartuffe is now our November show.  We had planned on bringing you Major Barbara. Due to circumstances we had to cancel Major Barbara. Tartuffe is a classic comedy from the Baroque period and remains a favorite of audiences yet today.
I would be remiss if I did not mention that Rep Ed classes start up again September 12.  The theme is "Spooktacular" and the showcase is on October 31st, at noon, so the kids can have some Halloween fun with us  and still get out and trick or treat,  This is sure to be fun.
On a final note, our staff are taking a much needed vacation. The office will be closed from August 10 to 18. The phone lines will be open and ready to receive your messages, whether for season subscriptions, reserved tickets or any over reason.
We hope to see you soon, have a fun and safe remainder to your summer,

Chip Eddy
President, Toledo Repertoire Theatre
