A Monthly Newsletter from the Toledo Repertoire Theatre
The Reporter, Volume 35 Issue 1
December 2011
The mission of the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, founded in 1933, is to educate, entertain and serve Toledo and the surrounding region through live theatre.
Call the neighbors and wake the dog, it's finally here!

Please join us in welcoming back the much ballyhooed, highly anticipated, soon-to-be coveted email version of the old snail mail newsletter you couldn't get enough of, The REPorter

Watch out Brett Favre, after what appears to have been a 10 year hiatus the
REPorter is coming out of retirement and making a comeback stronger than ever! Chock full of...words, graphics, and more punctuation marks than you can wave a shtick at!  Yes, it's true friends, so break out those tissues because believe it or not the very first week of each month you'll now be receiving this email blast giving you the very latest news as to what's going on exclusively at your favorite theatre, The Toledo Rep.  But don't worry, you can still find us on the web at

www.toledorep.org for even more detailed information about articles here and so much other stuff.  And for those who don't know me, I'm Steve Burnette, your new congenial Artistic Director, and the guy writing this and a few other pieces each month, and the one whose homely mug is inside that picture box.  But the man behind slapping this together in such a slick manner is none other than

J. Judson Lohman.  So sit back, relax, and enjoy reading.  And hey, while you're at it, why not forward this to three of your closest friends?  But be careful these e-newsletters don't flirt with you.  After all they

are complimentary!

A Christmas Carol adapted from Charles Dickens

Join us at the beautiful Valentine Theatre and experience the ALL NEW musical version of this classic holiday tale. With a new script, new venue and a new score by local composer David Jex, A Christmas Carol spins the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the curmudgeonly miser, who learns to love more than his money.
